「虎ヶ雨」神奈川県中郡大磯町

Oiso is the 8th post station. Oiso-juku flourished as a post town on the Tokaido. This work depicts the scenic scenery of Oiso-juku and the bustle of the post town. Current Oiso is located in Oiso Town, Naka District, Kanagawa Prefecture.

９小田原
「酒匂川」神奈川県小田原市
9番目の宿場です。小田原宿は、小田原城の近くに位置しており、城下町として栄えました。小田原は江戸時代には東海道の中でも重要な拠点であり、徳川家康の関東支配の基盤となった地でもありました。

"Sakawa River" Odawara City, Kanagawa Prefecture
This is the 9th post station. Odawara-juku is located near Odawara Castle and flourished as a castle town. Odawara was an important base on the Tokaido route during the Edo period, and was the base of Tokugawa Ieyasu's control of the Kanto region.


10箱根
「湖水図」神奈川県足柄下郡箱根町
10番目の宿場です。箱根は東海道の中でも有名な観光地であり、美しい自然や温泉が魅力です。
箱根宿は、江戸時代には東海道の難所である箱根峠を越えるための宿場として栄えました。

“Lake Map” Hakone Town, Ashigarashimo District, Kanagawa Prefecture
This is the 10th post station. Hakone is a famous tourist destination on the Tokaido, and is known for its beautiful nature and hot springs.
Hakone-juku flourished during the Edo period as a post station for those crossing the Hakone Pass, a difficult point on the Tokaido.


11三島
「朝霧」静岡県三島市
11番目の宿場です。三島宿は、箱根山の麓に位置しており、江戸時代の東海道の要所として重要な役割を果たしていました。現在の三島市には日本三大鳥居のひとつである大鳥居や、歴史的な建造物などもあります。

"Morning mist" Mishima City, Shizuoka Prefecture
This is the 11th post station. Mishima-juku is located at the foot of Mt. Hakone and played an important role as a key point on the Tokaido route during the Edo period. Today, Mishima City is home to Otorii, one of Japan's three major torii gates, as well as other historical buildings.
