「黄昏図」静岡県沼津市
12番目の宿場です。津宿には本陣3、脇本陣1、旅籠屋55があり、総戸数は1234でした。
沼津は愛鷹山の裾野に位置し、黄瀬川を挟んで静かな雰囲気が広がっていました。

“Twilight” Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture
This is the 12th post station. Tsujuku had 3 honjins, 1 wakihonjin, and 55 inns, for a total of 1,234 units.
Numazu is located at the foot of Mt. Ashitaka, with a quiet atmosphere across the Kise River.

「朝之富士」静岡県沼津市
現在の静岡県沼津市にあたる場所から、朝焼けに赤く染まる富士が描かれています。旅道中の三人とつがいの丹頂鶴。富士山が画角を突き破るという斬新な構図で描かれています。

"Morning Fuji" 
Fuji dyed red in the morning glow is depicted from a location in what is now Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Three people and a pair of red-crowned cranes on a journey. It is depicted in an innovative composition in which Mt. Fuji pierces through the angle of view.


14吉原
「左富士」静岡県富士市
吉原へ向かう曲がりくねった松並木の街道と富士山の風景が描かれています。
特別製の鞍に乗る三人の子供。真ん中の子は遠く富士を見つめ、右の子はうたた寝をしています。
この作品は東海道五十三次の中でも人気のある作品の一つです。

"Left Fuji"
It depicts the winding pine tree-lined road leading to Yoshiwara and the scenery of Mt. Fuji.
Three children riding on specially made saddles. The child in the middle is staring at Fuji in the distance, and the child on the right is taking a nap.
This work is one of the most popular works among the 53 Stations of the Tokaido.

「夜之雪」静岡県静岡市
蒲原は、現在の静岡県静岡市の宿場で、江戸時代の東海道の宿場町として栄えました。
この作品は冬の静かな夜の蒲原が描かれています。現在の蒲原宿周辺は、観光地としても人気があり、古い町並みや歴史的な建造物が残っています。

“Night Snow” 
Kambara is a post town in what is now Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture, and flourished as a post town on the Tokaido route during the Edo period.
This work depicts Kanbara on a quiet winter night. The current area around Kambara-juku is a popular tourist destination, with old townscapes and historical buildings remaining.
