合資会社大和川酒造店は、寛政2年（1790年）創業、福島県喜多方市に本拠を構える老舗酒蔵です。230年以上にわたり、会津の風土に根ざした酒造りを行い、現在は10代目がその伝統を受け継いでいます。

代表銘柄「弥右衛門（やうえもん）」は、会津産の良質な酒米と飯豊山系の清らかな伏流水を用い、芳醇でありながらキレのある味わいを実現。特に近年は有機栽培や減農薬の米を用いた「自然派日本酒」造りにも注力し、国内外のコンテストでも高い評価を受けています。

酒蔵の一部は資料館「北方風土館」として公開されており、歴史的建造物や文化財としても広く親しまれています。伝統と革新を両立させながら、次代へと繋がる日本酒文化の担い手として進化を続けています。

Yamatogawa Shuzo Ten, Goshi Kaisha is a historic sake brewery founded in 1790 (Kansei 2), located in Kitakata City, Fukushima Prefecture. With over 230 years of sake brewing heritage rooted in the Aizu region, the brewery is now operated by the 10th-generation heir.

Its flagship brand Yaemon showcases a rich yet crisp flavor, crafted using premium local rice from Aizu and pristine spring water from the Iide mountain range. In recent years, the brewery has focused on creating natural-style sake using organically grown or low-pesticide rice, earning numerous accolades in domestic and international competitions.

Part of the brewery complex is open to the public as the Kitakata Furusato Museum, a cultural facility that preserves historical architecture and brewing heritage. Balancing tradition with innovation, Yamatogawa continues to evolve as a steward of sake culture for future generations.
