吉乃川株式会社は、天文17年（1548年）創業、新潟県長岡市に本拠を置く越後最古の酒蔵です。470年以上の歴史を誇り、「長岡の米と水で醸す、越後の地酒」を理念に酒造りを続けています。代表銘柄「吉乃川」は、信濃川の伏流水と新潟県産米を用いた淡麗辛口の酒質が特徴で、すっきりとした喉ごしと上品な香味で幅広い食事に寄り添います。伝統を大切にしつつも、近年では最新設備を導入し安定した品質を実現。国内外のコンペティションでも高い評価を得ており、「米どころ新潟」の風土を映す酒として、地域に根ざしながらも全国にその魅力を届けています。
Yoshinogawa Co., Ltd., founded in 1548, is the oldest sake brewery in Niigata Prefecture, located in Nagaoka City. With over 470 years of history, the brewery adheres to the philosophy of crafting “Echigo sake made from Nagaoka’s rice and water.” Its flagship brand, Yoshinogawa, is characterized by a crisp, dry flavor profile achieved using underground water from the Shinano River and locally grown Niigata rice.
