秋田銘醸株式会社は、大正11年（1922年）、秋田県湯沢市で県内の酒造家や政財界の有志によって設立された蔵元。代表銘柄「美酒爛漫（爛漫）」の名は翌大正12年に一般公募で決定されました。雪国・秋田の寒冷な気候を活かした低温長期発酵と“品質第一”の姿勢で、ふくよかで旨口の酒を醸し続けています。

近年は湯沢の「酒米の里」を未来へつなぐため、自社田での酒米栽培（百田・一穂積・秋田酒こまち等）にも取り組み、米づくりから醸造まで一貫する“ドメーヌ”型の酒造りを推進。地域の水と土壌に根ざした、清らかで調和の取れた味わいが特長です。

Akita Meijo Co., Ltd. was founded in 1922 in Yuzawa, Akita, by local brewers and community leaders. Its flagship label, “Bishu Ranman,” was named through a public contest in 1923. Upholding a quality-first philosophy, the brewery utilizes Akita’s snowy climate to conduct long, low-temperature fermentations, crafting generous, umami-rich sake with a refined balance.

In recent years, Akita Meijo began cultivating its own sake rice—including Momota, Ippozumi, and Akita Sake Komachi—pursuing a farm-to-bottle, “domaine-style” approach that preserves Yuzawa’s heritage as the “home of sake rice” and expresses its terroir in every bottle.
