Komasa Jyozo Co., Ltd., established in 1883 in Hioki City, Kagoshima Prefecture, is a renowned distillery with over 140 years of history in authentic Shochu production. Utilizing high-quality sweet potatoes grown in the region's volcanic soil and pure natural spring water, the distillery employs traditional black koji and barrel-aging techniques to enhance the natural character of its ingredients.
