【日坂 佐夜ノ中山】
遠江国（静岡県）の難所、小夜の中山。険しい急坂の道端には、伝説で知られる「夜泣石（よなきいし）」が鎮座し、その傍らで一息つく旅人の姿が描かれています。急峻な地形を大胆に表現した構図が、当時の旅の険しさを今に伝える、ドラマチックな一枚です。
