17.上總ノ海路(かずさのかいじ)
千葉県の三浦半島と房総半島に挟まれた海峡、浦賀水道周辺で描かれた作品です。上総は江戸時代には海運が盛んでした。作品には、海上を航行する船や遠くに富士山が描かれており、航海の様子や美しい風景が表現されています。

17.Kazusa Sea Route
This work was painted around the Uraga Channel, a strait between the Miura Peninsula and Boso Peninsula in Chiba Prefecture. Kazusa had a thriving maritime industry during the Edo period. The works depict ships sailing on the sea and Mt. Fuji in the distance, expressing scenes of voyage and beautiful scenery.
